BRH Helmet Art - Frequently Asked Questions
I got to have one of these “one of a kind” helmets, how can I bid?
1. Register online by downloading the registration form filling it out and signing and either faxing to Shred Ready Foundation, or emailing to the Shred Ready Foundation. On the registration form you will have a bidder number. By filling out and signing the bidder agreement you promise to pay for any of the helmet art pieces you bid on and win.
2. Or you can register at any of the BRH Helmet Art Shows.
3. Once registered you will have be given a bidder number.
4. If attending a show you can bid on the spot by bidding at least five dollars over the current value of the helmet art piece.
5. If you want to bid online between the shows you can email info@becauserockshurt.com and give thebid amount and bidder number.

When will the bidding end?
All helmets that have not sold will be placed on eBay as a last chance offering. They will be listed
starting October 3rd, 2008. All auctions will end the folllowing Friday October 10th, 2008.
When will I have to pay for the helmet art piece if I win?
You will have to pay when the auctions end after 10/10/08. If you choose to "Buy it Now", you will have to pay within 5 days.
Can I buy a helmet right now?
Yes, there is a "Buy it Now" price. Any helmet art piece can be purchased at anytime at the "Buy it Now" price
Who gets the money?
All proceeds from the helmets and merchandise will be given to American Whitewater.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Master Card, Visa, PayPal, Personal Checks, Money Orders. Checks and Money Orders need to be made out to the Shred Ready Foundation, Inc.
Is my payment tax deductible?
Yes, the Shred Ready Foundation is in the process of receiving non-profit designation
What if I can not attend a BRH event?
You can bid via email once you have submitted your registration form.
What are the BRH Helmet Art Shows?
BRH is a platform art show in which about 30 artists decorated the “standard” helmet in any medium they choose. The helmets were then put up for auction at each of the BRH helmet art shows. All proceeds will benefit American Whitewater.
Are the helmets functional?
Yes, most are functional and will not be damaged by water. However, some of the helmet art is not properly protected and may need additional work (Clear coating) to the art work to protect from water damage. Of course all can be damaged by impacts. Please contact us if you have any questions about the functionality of a helmet.
