BRH2: Update from Salida Colorado
Fibark, what a great event; it stands for First in Boating the Arkansas River and began in 1949. We set up BRH outside the Boathouse Cantina, a riverside restaurant on the main path between the Salida Park and the boat ramp to the whitewater course. Tons of kayakers and spectators checked out and appreciated all the helmet art as they walked to the river. Fibark also featured some great bands like Hells Bells, the all female AC/DC cover band from Portland. It was hot, so it was nice to be next to SKA brewing’s beer garden. Thanks Arlo ! I did however manage a few pictures check them out.

The helmets had a fine showing at the Teva Mountain Games in Vail, CO this past weekend. We positioned the disco ball-designed-helmet (Discos on your Head for Protection) exposed in the light with a great reflection that seemed to really draw people in. Everyone got a ton of laughs with the Dunce Cap (We need an energy bill that encourages consumption). Looking forward to Salida this weekend
